Introducing our 20,000 sq. ft. office/lab TI and building addition for the USDA Federal
Milk Market Administration in Dallas, Texas. This building was originally built in the 1990’s and is home to administrative personnel and a complete laboratory used to test and monitor dairy products.
This project was our third for USDA and demonstrates our commitment to serving our clients and our geographic flexibility. The first project was near our Sacramento, CA branch, and the second project was in Louisville, KY. We have two more projects lined up on the East Coast for USDA.
The facility is three stories and was occupied during construction, requiring significant protection, safe measures, noise control, and phasing. The project included turning an unfinished basement into an office space and employee lounge with new restrooms.
Near the completion of the main TI, we commenced construction of a 20 x 30 addition to the separate storage building.
We partnered with the client to keep the history alive, and refurbished the existing milk bottle sconces, vintage furniture, and brought in artwork and design elements to match.
In addition, the newley remodeled restrooms include all new touchless fixtures and class. We also added more storage facilities including an addition to existing outbuilding and enclosed trash enclosure to camouflage the necessary waste and recycling containers.
