PLAYA BOWLS

This marks our fourth Playa Bowls project in Tennessee and brings the brand’s signature beach-inspired atmosphere to the campus of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. For this location, we collaborated closely with the brand’s in-house artist to create a vibrant, coastal aesthetic that captures the laid-back, surf-inspired spirit Playa Bowls is known for.

Playa Bowls is a popular superfruit bowl shop specializing in customizable bowls made with frozen bases like açaí, pitaya (dragon fruit), coconut, and other nutrient-rich fruits. Guests can build their own bowls by adding fresh fruit, granola, seeds, and sweet drizzles, creating a delicious and personalized experience. In addition to bowls, the menu features smoothies, juices, and oatmeal made with fresh, high-quality ingredients.

Designed to feel like a “slice of summer,” the space blends bright colors, natural textures, and playful surf culture influences to deliver a fun, energetic environment that reflects the brand’s coastal roots while fitting seamlessly into the vibrant campus community.
