NewBasis

TI Builders was selected to construct a 125,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for NewBasis inside an existing industrial building in Lebanon, Tennessee. The project required transforming an industrial shell space into a fully operational production and logistics facility capable of supporting New Basis’ manufacturing and distribution operations. This project included many distinctive self-performed tasks, such as the installation of a concrete apron for a tank farm, the modification of docks for pit levelers, and the establishment and excavation of crane footings within the space.

 

TI Builders worked closely with the tenant and design team to implement a flexible design-assist approach, allowing the construction team to rapidly adjust to design modifications and operational requirements as they emerged.

 

The project’s key challenges included an aggressive schedule, evolving manufacturing requirements, and the complexity of converting an existing shell into a specialized production facility. The team also had to coordinate extensive equipment, utilities, and structural requirements while adapting to ongoing design changes. 

 

TI Builders’ ability to drive design changes, coordinate specialized industrial systems, and deliver large-scale construction on an aggressive schedule allowed New Basis to bring its new manufacturing operation online quickly and efficiently.
